Role:

  • Directly manage all advanced analytical activities and lead predictive modeling team  recommendations to improve incremental sales and ROI from all targeted customer campaigns
  • Develop and validate customer segmentations using advanced statistical techniques and numerous data sources. These segmentations are foundational to our understanding of the overall performance of the Optimum loyalty program, the success of our promotional events, the effectiveness of the promotional flyer and competitor activities.

Director, Strategic Marketing Planning, Business Intelligence & CRM

Reporting to the Vice-President, Marketing and Communications, the Director, Strategic Marketing Planning, Business Intelligence & CRM is responsible for leading a customer segment marketing vision through the development and implementation of strategies affecting profitable growth of the entire business. The incumbent will be responsible for market, industry, and competitive environmental assessments, defining customer segments and developing and positioning relevant service offerings. The incumbent will also lead the development of a marketing strategy and plan that drives profitable growth for the numismatic business through customer acquisition, retention and optimization.  The incumbent will ensure alignment with the RCM’s strategic priorities by leading efforts to drive increased revenue and develop and execute marketing programs in collaboration with the Director, Customer Marketing, the Director, Product Development and the Sales team.  The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of approximately 5 people.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Manager to help accelerate the Company’s evolution from price to product intelligence. S/he will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the Company’s product planning and roadmap efforts, including bringing new and innovative solutions to market while also continually improving 360pi’s core product offering. The Product Manager will drive efforts to achieve company revenue goals and to position the company as a visionary leader in its emerging market.

Working with the context of the Company Vision and Company Strategy established by the leadership team, the Product Manager will be the primary owner of the Product Roadmap. Essential Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, risk analysis and project management in a complex and diverse IT environment.
Knowledge and experience in the use of software development methodologies, tools and techniques, and the software development life cycle in a heterogeneous environment.
Knowledge and experience in technology selection, implementation, and ongoing vendor service delivery management

Master Data Management:

When data exceptions are identified, perform business & data analysis in order to resolve data issues with vendors and/or business stakeholders.
Work with business units in identifying and implementing data quality rules, metrics, service level objectives and policies.

  • Develop the business intelligence architecture for all warehouse or BI environment components (areas of preparation, management of reference data, operational data stores, business data warehouse, data marts, cubes, etc ….);

Master Data Management specialist

•Ensure all new item masters are activated within company guidelines and time lines. Manage Phase In / Phase Out and Delistment.
Govern & coordinate Master Data requirements for ongoing maintenance
•Develop and implement the Master Data processes in alignment with the enterprise way of working.
•Organize data clean-up and validation efforts by reaching out to all business partners to ensure integrity of master data across the systems.
•Investigate and resolve non-compliance/data integrity issues.
•Utilize standard set of tools to effectively manage the change process.
•Participate in business reviews and design sessions to assist in the identification of additional Master Data process improvements.

MDM Lead:

  • You will provide support and oversee the Analysts, MDM on a daily basis by ensuring they have the necessary tools, documentation and training to provide the level of service required by the various Resolute teams;
  • Take part in various technical projects in order to properly understand and document the impacts and changes affecting the MDM team;
  • Provide daily support to the various MDM groups by answering their questions regarding requests for additions or changes made to the databases;
  • Ensure that business processes are properly communicated and understood throughout the Company;

Financial Data Management – Protfolio Management: Analyst, Data Management and Reporting

  • Reporting to the Director, Data Management and Reporting, you will be responsible for the quality of the financial data in the firm’s systems and for the production of monthly and quarterly client reports.

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    As part of your duties, you will be assigned the following responsibilities:

    • Create, classify and maintain financial securities in Pacer;
    • Maintain securities in LatentZero: create, validate status (active vs. inactive), validate security’s primary exchange, etc.;
    • Validate accruals with Bloomberg and adjust security set-up should discrepancies occur;
    • Supervise and track variable-rate securities, redeemable securities, etc.;
    • Analyze exception reports and follow-up to ensure timely resolution;
    • Supervise the processes of daily and monthly price allocations for financial securities, stocks, bonds, etc.;
    • Validate price fluctuations beyond tolerance limits and follow up with price suppliers;
    • Monitor prices of zero-volume securities;
    • Maintain a record of securities that have been manually valued and ensure back-up maintenance of at all times for internal and external control purposes;
    • Receive and analyze user requests for corporate and market data;
    • Participate in the production of monthly and quarterly reports to clients;
    • Take note of any new specifications relating to client reports and ensure follow up;
    • Perform any other related duties.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field;
    • IFIC or Canadian Securities course completed, or in the process of completion, is an asset.

    SPECIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • At least 3 years’ experience performing similar duties in a portfolio management firm;
    • Knowledge of financial instruments and related market data;
    • Familiarity with data suppliers, such as Bloomberg and Scotia;
    • Hands-on experience with portfolio accounting systems, including FMC Pacer;
    • Thorough understanding of a portfolio manager’s back-office processes would be an asset;
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage priorities;
    • Independence, resourcefulness and sense of accountability;
    • Team player with a strong ability to adapt in a complex, changing environment;
    • Knowledge of Eagle, LatentZero is an asset;
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
